Great Internet Radio Software on Wallet and Computer

I've been working with the developer of this great tool for those who want something Better Than Winamp and can't afford SAM and other more expensive software.

http://hearit.tk

This tool allows you to set up rotations, Do live shows and announce what your playing as well as Top Of The Hour ID's and more. What I really love about this software is the Audio Processor. I'm an Album Rock station which is the most picky audience as far as audio quality. I use to run a far more expensive tool and was not as happy with it as this software. I really think for most hobbyists this software is kicking A$$. If you love the software after the demo which I know you will let your fellow broadcasters know about this easy link to remember. http://hearit.tk

Beat regards and have a nice holiday.

My company offers a virtual studio for our clients. This saves them the hassle of choosing broadcast software. There are so many to choose from, free to very expensive. In the near future I feel all stream hosting companies will offer this. My company also allows the use of broadcast software too.

Stationplaylist.com We use it on our commercial station. Music scheduler, voice tracking (including remote) great support.

Old low tech? How do you figure? I use SPL on my internet station and could not be happier. Sure, it could be flashier and have a more modern interface, but what else is wrong with it?

Too much work is what is wrong with it. It is obsolete. It is easier to just click on a calender and schedule. Also no back up plan if something goes wrong. And the list just goes on and on. They haven't even updated the web site or the software in years. And the prices!

The Encoder is built right into NextKast. The Radio Compression is auto set to meet Audiophile standard without the need to have to try and figure AGC settings, ect.

Radiojar sounds interesting, but does sound a little like LiveWebDj. I like AutoDJ's as a back up but they usually fail in comparison to automation software running on your computer especially for music formats that don't include Top40 or Rap. These specialized listening formats like Progressive Rock, Progressive Country, Classical usually require a more higher line of audio and less repetitious music. Very few automation programs can support say 2TB's of non repeat (unless requested) and still meet DMCA requirements. I've been also testing yet another program but when I tested it it was far from being done. hearit.tk is ready to go from the box you just set up your music and rotations and your set.

I do wish and hope for a more tweaked no repeat soon however.
