Great News for Everyone

Question: I know he goes by "Mellish" publicly, but isn't his name actually spelled "Melhuish"?

Also, one thing I have noticed about the MM is that KM favors cooler temperatures. An 80-degree day ranks lower than a 70-degree day.

I was listening to B98.5's Jordan Graye and she mentioned that today was voted - "The Number One Day to Listen to Kirk Mellish While at Work."

I thought you were going to say "The new phone books here." I thought my name was going to be in print because that truly woul be great news.

Yes. He used to be Melhuish on the WSB website, but a few years ago they changed it to Mellish.
Is Kirk any relation to former San Marcos president Fielding Mellish?

He did go by Melhuish until the Family Guy "Cool Whip" scene between Stewie and Brian aired and he had to change it.

As Ricky Ricardo would have said, "Splain."

It looks like Mell-whish. The Family Guy scene has Brian trying to get Stewie to say Cool Whip not Cool wHip. ***Somehow it seemed so much more poignant when I thought of it. Can I get a mulligan?***

I need a job! Anybody hiring???
Keep it together for a year and I imagine that Star, DAVE, The Bull, WGST, The Zone and Project will have openings. Can you work before 6am?

My clock radio goes off to WSB, and I am saddened to report that after Wednesday's 10, there was no Mellish Meter on Thursday and Friday.

Could there have been a theft of the meter? Or did Kirk decide to retire the meter while it was on 10?

I often have a quarrel with Kirk's ratings. Yesterday was indeed a 10, but today was relatively cloudy and windy. How both days can be 10's is beyond me.
