Not at all Roy things here onthe farm have never been better. Cows are doin well, machinery is holden up, price of milk is doing well. I just think with all the negativity out there in the world its time we all looked around and saw the good in people. I think Mike is one of the good people who has never gotten the credit he rightly deserves. The job of a sles manager at a radio station is quite demanding entercomm is very lucky to have a person with the integrity and people skills that he has. Who do yall think are some of the other people in the business who don't seen to get the credit they deserve

One who comes to mind is Jerry Papperelli from Rock
107. Jerry took over up there when Tim Durkin died and
he seems to have kept most of his staff in tact which
is an achievement in and of itself. But Jerry was
responsible for positioning the old Hot 97 (now BHT)
as a billable station. He flies under the radar and
never wants the recognition but he gets the job done.

Another good guy is Dave Stroud. Now at WNAK in
Nanticoke, Stroud is a consumate sales person. We
used to joke at WARD that "he never met a strip mall
he didn't like". He's one of the few guys who when
they left a position, actually went to the clients and
finished up their work with him instead of leaving it
to someone else. Integrity and client interest at heart?
Sure. But all those clients followed him to the next
place.

I don't really know them , but I'm sure they are nice fellows. Mike , in his shower for charity raised over 100,000 for local children I believe... He did it out side in the cold. One year I drove past him and say ice in his hair. He musr have been very cold that year

Ok, so Mike is the only great person in the business, according to you. Way to single out a topic you started about "people" in the business, as opposed to a "person".

Nothing at all against Mike, he is seasoned local who does good at what he does on and off air, but he's not the only person... or is he?

The course of this post certainly is sort of weird isn't it? Glad I'm not the only one who apparently thinks so.
