There are these guys live on WATR 1320 right now talking about the old days of radio. Some were talking about their days at WOR-FM in NYC, WWCO in Waterbury, WAVZ in New Haven. One guy was talking about how he helped to build 14/WNVR in the the late 1970s. They're talking about how great Music Radio 77 WABC was as well as 57/WMCA. WATR's News Director Bob Sagendorf is on talking about his days at WCBS AM/FM. Great stuff. Wish I had a tape to record this stuff.

While driving in Litchfield County CT Monday morning, I overheard two guys on a talk show on WSBS talking about the magic of how radio signals get from Point A to Point B, DX'ing on AM radio to amaze kids hooked on internet stuff and ham radio. Also wish I had a tape of that. Interesting program. WSBS is out of Great Barrington,MAss on 860AM.
