We've come full circle. Check out what I posted on page 4 of this thread, and your response to me:
http://boards.radio-info.com/smf/index.php?topic=125858.30 ;D
Hopefully, this link will take you back to page 4!
(Maybe you're referring to the studio version this time!)
To tell the truth fire, I was instinctively following the pattern set down by a couple frequent posters on this thread. In this case, the phrase "Rock and roll" was sparking our [collective] memories as a theme, as you can see if you follow the thread backwards for a few steps.

There is a factor to consider when dealing with a thread as long as this particular one, and that is - repeats will occur for numerous reasons, one of which is newcomers to the thread. The more obvious reason is probably due to memory issues - I have thousands of tunes in my head, but which one did I post here? Senior moments tend to contribute also. (I seem to have a lot of those lately. :-[ )

All that having been said, I'll take the "out" you graciously provided me and state emphatically, "Yes, I was referring to the studio recording this time." ;)

I like the LLLLLLOOONNNNNGGGGG drum solo in the middle of that one!

Oh, wait, who am I kidding here? I like the whole song! All 17+ minutes of it!

Heavy metal version of a jazz riff - of sorts. Somehow I thought it was closer to 19 minutes, but that might have been the other side of the lp.

Unforgettables - Dinah Washington
Cocaine - Eric Clapton
Kicks - Paul Revere & The Raiders
Get A Job - The Silhouettes
Get It On - Chase

Joy--Mitch Ryder & Detroit Wheels
