Green Is Universal: Is this the end?

I remember seeing "Green Is Universal" logos at the end of syndicated shows in the falls of 2007 and 2008 as well as the following springs. But I haven't seen any "green" logos for this fall. Did I miss it? Or did it just not happen yet?

Don't forget, MSNBC is in "green" format throughout the entire week. When they had their old logo chyron, which was multicolored and nearly resembled an American flag, it displayed a flat green logo chyron. It also incorporated the "green is Universal" slogan, and this April, it also alternated with the phrase, "Green lives here."

It will be interesting to see how MSNBC works the "Green" campaign into its new on-air graphics, which they have installed this summer.

Green is SO 2006!.....Green is the new Plaid.....no longer cool and hip....step outside and check your thermometer

It is coming. A promo appeared on MSNBC for a Jeff Corwin (I think) special with the "Green is Universal" logo. I forgot the date.

They green all NBCU network logos, including The Weather Channel and Telemundo, during the week.

I hate "green" anything. Most of the time it's a preachy thinly-veiled political message that makes for bad TV.
I agree. I've always loved the color green, but I'm getting sick of being preached to myself.

Reading the phrase, "Most of the time", I was just wondering when it's not a political message.

It's an awareness campaign, and a positive one at that. More positive and productive than promoting the next episode of the Biggest Loser or whatever else they have that no one watches.

You know, I'm kinda surprised that CBS hasn't promoted anything for green week. I mean, there's the Disney pledge promos on ABC, the CW has "be free to be green", and the Fox logo has gone green for a week. Here's an idea: "Green is Paramount" for CBS! Get it?
