Looks like this ratings book marked the beginning of some big changes in Greenville-Spartanburg.

WLWZ had just put the urban contemporary format on FM--it had been WTLT with an AC format before the change. The format change at 103.9 led to a huge drop in the ratings for WHYZ, and this was the last time AM 1070 was a serious competitor in the ratings.

The debut of My 102.5 was the beginning of the end for the AC format on WFBC-FM, though they held on for awhile before switching to oldies. Hard to believe that My 102.5 has been around for 20 years.
