Greenville stations on yes.com...gone!

Does anyone know what happened to the Greenville stations (WLFJ, WESC, WMUU, WHZT, WSPA, WSSL, WROQ, WMYI, WOLT, WJMZ) on yes.com? Oddly, WTPT is still on there. It's the site where you can get playlist history from the past 7 days.

I know it's not the most accurate out there, it can be buggy lately, it's no Mediabase (I have the links for some local stations' logs on there), but it was usually pretty accurate and better than nothing to see what some stations played. I don't know how it works....however, when the site went down for a few days a couple of weeks ago, the Greenville stations disappeared from it (the Columbia and Charleston ones are still on there) and never came back with the others. All of them are gone. I don't know how this site works, but any idea what's going on? It's a pretty fun site to look around on.

Sounds like the monitoring node went down. The hardware they use can be flaky sometimes. Columbia and on/of last year a number of times, then it was gone for a week. I have a feeling the computer died and it took them a while to get a new one shipped to teh monitoring location and re-initiated.

Thanks! So they'll probably be back? It's interesting that the same issue happened in Oklahoma City and Louisville as well this month (essentially full markets disappearing from the site and not returning).

The site itself has a lot of bugs, so I was wondering if the stations gave up on it or something. Hopefully it'll be resolved soon.

nice. a site with lots of bugs which generates data that is used to form opinions that are posted here. good thing arbitron is rock solid accurate

I don't form the opinions I post on here from that website. However, it is an interesting site to check out if you want an overall view of what a station's doing or has played recently since few of the companies provide a very detailed recently played list for their stations. The Last 10 Played section on Clear Channel's sites around here don't even work.

Hoping the GSP stations return to yes soon.

dont know about the cc stations websites or why yes.com doesnt give info anymore. the post was really more about nothing is really accurate anymore yet people use those tools including arbitron to determine how to program their stations. it is really about taste and not what fits into a bucket. you can chill carradio. the dart was aimed at the business and not you.

According to YES, the Greenville stations won't be back on until they find a new monitoring location, however that is done. I don't know the exact way the site works, but apparently multiple markets are monitored at one location, as quite a few other ones that are notable in the south/midwest have disappeared, like Richmond, Birmingham, Little Rock, Louisville, Oklahoma City, Montgomery, etc.
