Greetings from the DC area!

I’m new here. I live in the DC metro area (aka “the DMV”).

Does anyone still listen to shortwave? Is there still anything on shortwave? Just wanted to know. Oh

There are DXers and Ham radio operators on here.

10 meters is basically hit or miss, where 1.5 -5 Mc/Mhz is really good. Ham operators are using psk, you can receive or if you have an Advanced Ham ticket you can TX on there.

Welcome and greetings to a fellow DMV'r. Sadly am a short lived (30 mo total) former broadcaster but dreaming of starting a part 15/hobby/ stream station. Would be interested in learning more about the DX'ing side as that is very new to me.
