Hello all, I found this site while searching about radio personalities. I live in Canada and have been a SW/MW DX'er since I was a kid in the 70's with a little transistor radio and then graduated to a multiband radio with shortwave bands on it. I also hold an amateur radio license here in Canada. I haven't done much transmitting the last few years but I still monitor the old medium wave and shortwave bands everyday. Thanks all!

Welcome, just a quick question. I assume you see the northern lights occasionally. Does that condition help or hurt DXing on AM or FM?
Good question however I am not that far north to see the northern lights. I am in eastern Ontario about 90 miles from the upstate NY border. Maybe someone from further up north would know.
