Greg Kihn Show

Got a question for any/everybody...
Have you heard the Greg Kihn syndicated Show on 92FM?
If so...what do you think?
It basically replaced the Alice Cooper night show that used to be there.

My wife and I were listeneing the other night in the car. He was talking about an encounter he had with Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders in London just after he had played a Pretenders song.

I was listening to the story (about matching jackets they bought) and enjoying it...when my wife suddenly said "Why doesn't he just hush and play more music?" I never noticed that he had been talking very long...I was enjoying the story. She said he'd been prattling on about it for waaaaaay too long.

My question is...am I correct? Was it an entertaining story? Or...Is SHE right?... Was it only appealing to an old fogey radio guy like me? She is the same age as I and we saw this in two completely different ways.

I liked it and didn't notice or feel it went too long...
So am I right? Do we like the show? I do, anyway. ???

As I've stated before...if presented in a entertaining way, I really don't mind listening to a great antidote from a jock (or musician) in-between songs.

There are some folks that just can't pull it off, but there are others that can.

If the jock is knowledgeable and entertaining, then they usually have a pop-culture buff like me hooked from the get-go.
