If you do not have anyone in mind for a vote for the legacy inductee, I would like to suggest Milt Georgia. I worked for Milt for a short while. One of my biggest mistakes was leaving him. He and I were friends for many years. He was one of the old school radio people. He only ever worked at WGPC Radio in Albany starting shortly after WW2 due to a friendship he developed with Bob Woodruff Jr. during the war. He spent his career there and was a strong supporter of the community personally and with the station. He was also a probably one of the first bi-city managers as he managed Albany and the Woodruff station in Atlanta back in the 60's. Lord knows the man had some stories. He also had a young Albany guy named Ray Ragsdale (now known as Stevens) work for him who went on to bigger and better things in Nashville. Milt had his detractors particularly in the later years who claimed he would not move into the modern radio times and make more money. He was happy serving his community doing what he was doing and he made money doing it.
