GRIFFIN TURNS ANDERSON COOPER INTO GIGGLY SCHOOL GIRL

We wanted to watch something different, so we went to CNN for their New Years show.

Griffin was more watered down than usual, but managed to get a few funny lines. All she
could get Anderson to do was laugh and giggle...........over and over. I wasn't that impressed
with the show. About all they were able to do was show what was going on in Times Square
that CNN was not a part of.

They also had reporters located in Key West and Nashville, which was an odd combination I
thought. I felt like I was watching ION instead of CNN.

The CNN coverage on the whole seemed silly. Maybe it would have been better after a few drinks?

The title of this topic and the first post refer to Kathy Griffin.

I'd really like to see what Stewie Griffin would do to Anderson Cooper.

An animation character would be fun on a New Years Eve show. Their
segments would have to be scripted........but who would care.

Getting this back on topic! ::)

I found the combination embarrassing (for Cooper)! Cooper was simply too nice to Griffin. If I had been him, I would have been looking for some "duck" tape to put over her mouth after a couple of minutes. She is NOT funny! I only watched (and only sporadically even then) because of the coverage from Nashville. We actually spent most of the hour watching the Nashville PBS station's coverage of New Year's Eve from Memphis! I'm originally from west TN, so it was of interest to me. We only switched back to CNN in time to see the guitar drop.

...from the subject line, I was wondering how the hell Phil Griffin could be in his MSNBC office and still have that kind of effect on a CNN host ;D ...
