GRINDING THE AXE AT NBC

All good things must come to an end. And for the one time leader in news programming it has come too quick. NBC has announced that they will proceed with the be-headings of more than 700 jobs in the next few weeks. How will this effect chicago? I will tell you. You have already seen the decline of the 5pm and 6pm news. Now the 10pm news is going to the dogs. Bob Sirott slowly sliding up in that chair while Warner is still looking for his voicebox? By the way. We in the industry all know that Warner Saunders is done, I know it, you know it, the whole Chicagoland area knows it.

Anyway, this should be a fun ride for NBC and the local Chicago market.

....Stay Tuned!!!
