Some years ago there surfaced some rulings about convicted killers not being able to profit off media tellings of their evil deeds. Isn't there something to protect crazy people from exploitation too?
I'm thinking of "the Grizzly Man Diaries". Isn't this the guy who followed Grizzly Bears around, trying to get as close to them as possible, and have all kinds of interaction with these wild bears until one got sick of it and ate him?
Isn't there some kind of protection against a channel profiting off this man's insanity? Some might think I'm joking or being sarcastic, but I'm not. What he did was insane and it directly resulted in his death, now a tv channel is profiting from it and that just seems wrong.
Unless of course, there's something I've missed like, they're not taking a profit or it's only to warn others not to do stuff like that, but still...
