Groove 105.7 is a Dance CHR

Looking at the logs, it appears Groove has drastically cut back on the older material (pre-2000s). All 70s looks to be gone, 80s are pretty much gone except for occasionally. I'd go ahead and remove the Michael Jackson and Prince stuff and go ahead and go straight CHR/Rhythmic, as that appears to be what they're getting at.

The Groove now plays more currents than Q100 or Star percentage-wise and more than the Beat played.

Interestingly enough, they also play more gold than Q, Star or the Beat did. They play fewer recurrents. Star and Q play about 30 percent recurrents and gold is in the teens. The Groove plays recurrents in the teens and 30 percent gold.

The station is in a full blown revolution going after the Beat audience. They might break a 2 share!

If they plan to go after the Beat audience, makes sense to drop Lady A and Train. They've also added a few recurrents they had never played before but were common on the Beat such as Drake's "Best I Ever Had" and T.I.'s "Whatever You Like."

On August 18, the station ran 39.12% gold cuts. Yesterday, that was down to to 30.56%

looks like yesterday they have basically gone Full Blown Rhythmic the website says welcome 95.5 the Beat Listeners

Their website "welcomed" Beat listeners the day the Beat blew up.
