I'm usually up early, and listen to Jim Bohannon on KLVI in Beaumont, followed by the Texas in the Morning. At 5:30 AM, there is usually a Fox News update, followed by local KLVI news. At about 5:40 AM or so, there is a farm report. This is a report that appears to be syndicated, but for the last 2+ weeks, the same report has run every day. It is a report about ethanol in gasoline, and unless someone snaps to it, it will run again tomorrow. This used to happen occasionally with Paul Harvey's rest of the story when it ran at 5:55 AM, but usually was corrected within a day or so. I guess no one listens to the farm report, certainly not anyone at the station, or they would have done something about it by now.
This is just an example of why radio is dying, when no one at the station even pays attention to what they are running day after day after day on the air.
