Grounding: Braid vs Strap

In a typical radio broadcast facility, when installing grounding, whenever possible, I usually run 3" strap. I am encountering a studio run, via underground conduit, that won't permit this. Is there a size tinned braid that comes close to the electrical performance of 3" strap, in a RF environment?

You can use 1" braid within a metal conduit. Be sure to ground the conduit so that it contributes to the overall surface area of the grounding system.
Will it be as good as copper strap? Not quite but it should do the job.

In this case, conduit is actually PVC. So just like copper strap, the wider the braid, the better the performance. After doing an internet search, I actually do see a 3" braid out there. Can I substitute a round conductor cable, in place of a braid, and still attain the same performance of a braid, in this case, wiring studio equipment, and equipment racks?

At RF frequencies, total surface area of the conductor is very important (the skin effect). Braid is better than a solid conductor because there is more total surface area.
