Growing Pains to Nick@Nite, January 21st!

I read on Sitcoms Online, and also saw on Nick@Nite, that the 1980s sitcom Growing Pains is debuting on Nick@Nite January 21st, 2007 at 9PM. There will be more details tomorrow. This is a pleasant surprise!

Oh, and Nick@Nite will apparently regain the 8:30PM slot, as Full House will start airing then after GP comes I think. It will be interesting to see how all of this plays out.

Does this mean that the I network will not be carrying it after January 21st? Hopefully they will bring back "Amen" to the lineup. The I Network shouldn't have never dropped Amen in the first place leaving the show off in the 3rd season without seeing Thelma and Reverend Gregory getting married and the last episode where Thelma has her baby and James Brown is a guest on the telethon the church is having, for something that belongs on Nick At Nite primarily. And I do wish that the I network would have kept "The Monkees", "The Partridge Family", and "Welcome Back Kotter". Maybe they will someday. I just keep hoping.

So I guess that Growing Pains is on a higher level than The Monkees, The Partridge Family, Welcome Back Kotter and Amen since the I Network treated these shows like dirt. Once they drop Green Acres from the I Network, I will no longer be watching their network unless something good comes on there that will make me watch again.

There will be an all-night launch marathon, with a block of episodes running from 9p-1:30a and the block repeating from 1:30a-6a on January 21st

Effective January 22nd, Monday-Thursday

8:30PM Full House (replaces Nick programming)
9:00PM Growing Pains (replaces Full House)

Fridays and Saturdays

Sundays
