GSC3000 Voice Intfc Telco Line Anomaly

I had noticed that one of my stations stopped calling out alarms using a GSC3000 Voice Interface Unit. I could still dial into it on landline, cell phone and pc modem. Config was checked but all was normal and no changes recently made.

I could still plug a phone or buttset into the line while connected to the interface and modem and still make outgoing calls.

During my onsite testing the telco line died totally. Replacing it with a different POTS line restored everything back to normal.

Just wanted to share, since it began to look like remote control equipment problems but was not.
