Theirs also Password hosted by Regis and Drew Carey's Game Show that was on in the Evenings on CBS.

Were you referring to "The Power of 10".

Million Dollar Password and Power of 10 only lasted more than 10 episodes each and GSN played these to death so you can only get so much mileage off of these shows until you have to put them to rest. And we can add Dog Eat Dog and Minute To Win It to those shows whose welcome is getting more worn off each time they air.

Not sure about MDP, but aren't there some episodes of Power of ten
that were recorded and did not air?
Rights not available? Or am I simply wrong.

MTWI only lasted what, 2 seasons on NBC? We see this with primetime game shows. 'Millionaire' and "Deal Or No Deal" come to mind as well - tons of buzz, but they fade rather quickly. Of course, WWTBAM continues in syndication, but I don't think it's carried in my market.

Millionaire is aired here in Seattle via KSTW-11 in late mornings. It used to be on KONG during the dinner hour (6PM).

No it was on Sunday's Nights and one the guest was Betty White and it was on CBS.
NBC had Fear Factor,No Deal or Deal,Biggest loser,W. Link and so on.

Could he be referring to the remake of 21?

In recent years it seems to me like game shows in prime time are being used more as filler betwen reality shows and for times when shows are cancelled and not really meant to be on the schedule permanently and become a major hit like Millionaire did.

I'd like to see GSN run repeats of Duel, that had a couple of short runs on ABC, if not in new shows.
