The PPM is finally showing what's really happening with WTQR. They've been riding their name familiarity with Arbitron for a long, long time. The PPM shows what's really happening. There's no way that WTQR morning show is any competition for the WPAW morning show. Hands down, no comparison.

Cume and share are the new estimates in a PPM world ... ratings have way to much compression and share illustrates how important ATE is .... afterall that is what drives P1 and P2 which is the life blood of the new radio world we live in. If you don't believe me run the Preference Trending Reports ....

I've never paid much attention to the Gboro numbers, but it's interesting how WUNC is at the TOP in the Raleigh ratings (as is somewhat normal). However, with both WUNC and WFDD with signals in Gboro, it is surprising that neither of them are really scratching paper on the Gboro PPMs.

Nowadays, Public Radio is able to use those numbers for underwriting sales. WUNC is really a killer public station. Too bad that WFDD is so much weaker in it's home market.
 
I saw some WIST numbers and they were up from their Country numbers. However, I hear Senor Sanchez is not doing too well with advertising sales. If he continues to falter, the station will go back under the management of it's owner. Who knows what format it will be next, but my guess is.......get ready.......... OLDIES!!! ;D
That's right GTGO, you could get your Oldies station, yet!

Please...please don't give him ammo. I talked with sales and what I was told, they're on track.
 
I'm glad to hear that. This area needs La Raza and the way Clear Channel dumped La Preciosa was just wrong. I really hope La Raza succeeds.
