GSP Fall '06

I see 12+ WMYI is #1....Jamz #2...country slipped but still at 3rd and 4th...the 103s are both way down. WGVC is at 1.1, actually higher than I expected. What a total waste! The Buzzard takes a big hit, The Planet is off as well. ROCK101 has a nice increase.

Anyone have 25-54? How did WGVC do in its first book?

Any thoughts???

On the book and the 103s, I feel for Bill. He had no choice with the s--t they did, like "The Handlebar" crap, or now the Noon "Gasoline" show...or that Saturday Jewish show. No choice at all.

103.3 deserves better, but all the paid time really hurt them.

WMYI just keeps looking better and better, with the variety of "yesterday and today." Why doesn't Entercom switch 106.3 to Oldies or Classic Hits? That would certainly help them, and take some numbers from WMYI.

The 103.3 is insane....I know that Bill would NEVER program a station like that..It's all time share stuff. Bill P is a man of integrity and knows that oldies done right- with processing and a playlist of 1000 songs trumps the standard 200 that OXL in Asheville does!! It is all about $$$- time share!! Man, what would happen if they let the man program it?? I KNOW it would be excellent! ;D ;D

103.3 was sounding great after it started. Slowly, they started with the Jewish thing...then Handlebar...then Bob Ross during the week (which has turned in to a bunch of silly talking)...this 'Gasoline'...I'm back to listening to My 102.5 most of the time now. I do listen in the mornings when they aren't doing this time-share programming, though. I feel bad for the people in the background there, because they don't really have a say and I guess they HAVE to sell time to make money.

It's apparently not just 103.3, 103.9 is sinking as well.

106.3 can't last long with numbers like that. I've seen plenty of promotion, but have yet to find someone that likes it. Every time I stop there, I still think about how stupid Entercom was to kill that Oldies format in the first place!!!

I still think 96.7 The Buzzard should do Oldies, Classic Hits, or something. It has a small signal so it wouldn't be a big gamble anyway, it's never going to get big numbers.

CC seems to understand the Greenville market and their ratings bear it out. Funny how, down the road, in Atlanta the same company struggles to figure out the market. Does CC share any regional management between Atl and G'ville?
