106.3 is down to a 2.8 share in the latest book, even below Earth FM now. What will Audacy do to stop the bleeding?

Nothing. They will stay the course. Talk stations have more inventory than music stations, so it will continue to make money

But with a heavily 55+ audience, how much longer can a heavier spot load make up for poor demographics and numbers? Partisan commercial talk is struggling in many markets and I can’t see the demos improving.

At the very least, I can’t believe Audacy won’t start re-evaluating the programming on WORD. The radical viewpoints being shared in AM and PM drive have gotten old and fallen out of fashion. The local hosts don’t even like members of their own party on a state level and no election ever pleases them. Hearing their non stop attempts at fault finding to try to keep a discussion going is getting really old and starting to sound extremely desperate. There’s radical, then there’s WORD radical.

Wow at WYRD’s collapse and WGTK’s gain right before the election lol. I saw someone mention it in a FB group about Tara’s meltdown over the red tsunami not happening the way she wanted lol.

It’ll be interesting to see how WYRD looks post election, my guess is they’ll drop even further.
