And he's obviously never listened to Herman Cain's The Bottom Line on WGKA. Plus, who said it's all about ratings? It's all about profit. If it were all about ratings, Clear Channel would have thrown in the towel long ago...but they make the profits.

I stopped reading once I read who wrote the article. BJ Ellis is blowhard moron who thinks he deserves to be heard instead of practically every working on-air personality in Atlanta. To hear him tell it on Rodney Ho's Access Atlanta blog, every station in Atlanta has been bought off by the NAACP or has some corporate conspiracy to him off the air.

Sure, he'll probably get off a barb or two that'll get some chuckles and head nodding, but dude is boring, repetitive, and pretty full of himself. He might wanna stick to his quaint internet streams and podcasts, because the only way anyone will hear him on the radio will be with the help of a Belkin FM transmitter.<P ID="signature">______________

He's got a chip on his shoulder because no one at 97.1 returned his phone call, which was obviously to offer his sage advice. He's definitely got the ego for radio!

Well polished, and he just might be able to handle a regularly scheduled talk show. His fill-ins show he has a way to go.

I'd say that you both should go back and re-read that piece for CONTENT instead of STLYE. That "Kid" is trying to help. He's telling us how make radio worth listening to, instead of writing about how great his I-POD is or how much he enjoys his satellite radio.

I'd also say that it's time to start keeping our eyes on the ball.
