guess what i saw this morning.

it seems that Mega is resorting to 'panhandling' measures to promote their station.

this morning, during my morning commute up a suprisingly smooth-yet-congested US1. i saw a mega 94.9 van parked to the side of a shell gas station facing US1. there were two kids (one boy and one girl) jumping on top of the van waving Mega 94.9 signs..and there was this guy on the median walking up and down holding a mega 94.9 sign.

does this mean mega's about to throw in the towel?
or did they just run out of money from wrapping every single metro-dade bus?

lol ive seen something similar, for those that are familair with Hialeah theres an on ramp for Palmetto Expressway south that cuts into part of westland mall. Right there is a big intersection it was 7am lots of local traffic, the Mega 1035 Scion XB ( no pun intended, lol ) was parked right next to the on ramp with some lady at the crack of dawn dancing by herself seductivly to cars passing by with the XB playing music, the driver was also doing the same thing. It was pretty funny made my morning, their desparation for listeners is obvious. 949's day is near i give them no more than a year to a few months.

I guess I can add to this thread with a recent observation:

I was at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino (no plug intended) a couple of Wednesday nights ago. After 6 PM 97.9-WRMF set up a 'booth of fun' in the outside shopping and dining area (near the big water fountain). I passed by a few times and didn't see much action going on, but as showtime was nearing (Jay Leno was performing LIVE at the Hard Rock Live !) it appeared that 'the desperate housewives' had arrived in mass numbers and were simply having a good ole time at the booth laughing and carrying on with (I'm guessing) some of their favourite 'RMF' personalities.
