Guess who's paying for the LIN TV fee increase....

I wonder if the same is going to happen with Cox in CT as their is two Lin stations here WTNH and WCTX. To me it feels like they don't need to extra money because they let people go at WTNH speaking of one the former chef weather guy. Plus why the heck should a local broadcast channel need a rate increase? They could just replace WTNH with WABC from NYC.

There is actually an alternate cable provider in Bristol Co., Rhode Island that I'm not sure many people know about. It's called Full Channel. It's locally owned and operated, and its the opposite of what you would think. Full Channel has been servicing the community of Bristol for 30 years, and about a decade ago, Cox fought and came in, and many people switched. Full Channel uses the same guide layout as Comcast and has a limited number of HD channels, but I'm pretty sure they have both WPRI and WNAC in HD. I'm pretty sure they even have Cool TV. I also heard they do something with their system that no other cable provider anywhere does. If you have an HD receiver, you DON'T have to go to channel 700-whatever like you do on Cox. Anyone heard of this company?

I know if you hook your cable directly to your newer TV You get them in sequenchel order. ex 10,10-1,10-2.I dont understand why the HD channels are buried in the 700's and the subchannels are in the 800's either. I can understand with older boxes but the newer ones should be more up to date on channel placemnt.
