I was trying to remember a good song they played at the 8am hour. Well one of the songs they played was Green Day " Wake Me Up When September Ends." Except that on Star's last songs played directory the moron in charge of the directory has the song listed as " Wake Me Up When September Comes."

In most cases it's not up to the "webmaster" to sit & post each & every song that's played on the website. It's typically a data stream fed to the website from the automation system. While yes it certainly had to be hand-entered, the use of "moron" or "incompetent" seems a bit harsh ...

Keep in mind, all of the web sites for Cox stations are boiler-plates with templates (just compare Star999.com to 967thecoast.com and you'll see it plain as day). Highly doubtful it's the webmaster by any means. More than likely it was a typo when the music got placed into their MOHD system - whether it happened at Corporate programming or the local level when the track was imported one thing is for sure - it's just a typo! Gawd, lighten up.

I'm not sure how the song's ID tags are filled out when the CD is ripped into automation, but I know when ripping music into iTunes, I've had to correct errors to artist, and album info from the Grace Note CD database.

Interesting side note, last year, Fox ran a 4th of July special where troops in Iraq and Afghanistan made song dedications. I remember one of the soldiers refering to the song as Wake Me Up When September Comes.

One other thing, perhaps some of you can help me settle this. The lady that sings Every Time We Touch, is her name pronounced Cas-kada or Cas-sada (spelled: Cascada). I've heard it both ways.
