HA! Launch Schedule (Sunday, April 1, 1990)

Here is the schedule for the launch of the MTV-owned HA! network.

HA! focused more on sitcom reruns instead of comedy clips and riffing specials like the HBO-owned Comedy Channel (which it would merge with to form CTV: Comedy Network before becoming Comedy Central shortly afterwards).

So, that entire Saturday was dedicated to Eddie Murphy, weird.

It's interesting how many stations over the years have either started out or tried a similar lineup to the weekday schedule you show above (including Nickelodeon waaay back in the day) and they either didn't get great ratings or there wasn't enough interest and they moved on to different programming.
