Actually, they aren't supposed to do that (FCC rules state that a digital station has to identify by its original analog channel number). And it isn't necessary, since KPIX-DT is recognized as "channel 5.1" by a DTV tuner, regardless of what frequency it is transmitted on.<P ID="signature">______________

I think he was asking if stations would be identifying by their digital channel number when analog is turned off. (Which I answered already.)<P ID="signature">______________
