Ok I'm bored at the moment and built my "Personalized radio station" on Launchcast. I have a mix of Rock, classic and modern Country,Blues and some oldies.
Does HJY still air Dee Sniders House of Hair and is B101 still alittle ways off before we hear any hair bands if all. It seems to be an almost lost "Flavor" right now.

I don't have time to explore the HJY website to see if they still run Dee but I assume they do since HJY has become a syndicated station for a good part of the weekend. In fact I think Ryan is the only weekend dj they have that isn't part of weekday programming unless they've buried Pete Silva somewhere I haven't heard.Future ads for PDs there should specify "must be willing to change nothing until numbers force change".

As a big, big fan of the hairbands (past & present) I'm always looking for a station to pick up more of this music. I heard a great weekend show some months back on a cape station... Crue, Warrant, Poison, Trixter... aah the memories! HJY is not carrying House of Hair, I think they dropped it about a year ago.

Dee Snider's House of Hair is not on the radio anymore, and Dee Snider has 'retired' from being on the radio so he can spend more time with his family. He used to host the evening show on 93.3 WMMR in Philadelphia, but he stopped doing that as well.

If you want your dose of hair bands, try 107.3 WAAF on Saturday nights. I think they call it the Saturday Night Hair Ball, and I believe it runs from 7 to midnight. Also, if you have digital cable, there's the arena rock Music Choice channel, as well as the choices that are on Sirius and XM.

I wish some more stations in New England would pick up The Tourbus from WDHA in NJ. I used to like listening to that show on WTOS late Friday nights.
