Hal Jackson Has Died

Very melancholy period for urban radio in New York City. First, the loss of Kiss-FM, and now we lose the great Hal Jackson. :-[

Mr. Hal Jackson got to do what most people don't get to do until their last days; he did his passion and did a great job doing it for over 70 years.

May Hal rest in peace.

Thanks,
Kevin L. Sealy

Those of you may familiar with this show and the host, it was best known as the theme song for WBLS' "Sunday Classics" show with Hal Jackson. The name of that song was "Someday My Prince Will Come" by Miles Davis from the Disney film "Snow White", this was the highlight of the show. I used to taped the songs off the radio for many years during my frequent visits, and we're going to miss him so much. Here is the "Sunday Classics" theme in its entirety.
