He's ok now after a stint, and one more coming. Tough to keep this news quiet until Hal announced it by phone today!

Good lord, my prayers go out to the jay family and to his speedy recovery

My God! Only a few weeks ago he was celebrating 20 years at WBAP. He has many fans in and out of the industry. He is a great person, down to earth, which is very rare in this industry. I had/have the pleasure of knowing Hal and working alongside him. I hope he recovers fully, and heeds the doctors. Quit the cigarettes please, and be with us for a long while.

Davis and crew were saying it looks like Hal may be back at work Monday. Rest and heal up first Fun Guy.

Mark said they ask Hal if he smoked as they were loading him in the copter. He said, I used to. When did you quit? Hal replied ......about 30 minutes ago.
