Hal Turner Behind Bars For Anti-Judge Rant

The New Jersey-based Internet radio host was sentenced to nearly three years in prison after writing on his blog that judges in Chicago who overturned a local ban on handguns "deserved to die" for their decision:

Upon his release, he is banned from participating in Internet radio or even satellite radio broadcasting for three years.

I don't think he should be behind bars because of the rant, but because he put out the names and addresses of the judges. That's the threatening aspect. He said "they should be killed". If he would have written "I'm going to kill...", then that would be a clear threat. It's not good or smart to print what he said, but we've got to be careful when restricting freedom of speech. It's too easy to lose it.
