Halloween Music

"Monster Mash"-Bobby 'Borris' Picket
"Thriller"-Michael Jackson
"A Nightmare On My Street"-DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince
"Freaks Come Out At Night"-Whodini
"Frankenstein"-The Edgar Winter Group

Not to get off the topic here but, I used to like how Joe Mccoy former pd of CBSFM always got Zacherly to do his halloween music show on halloween night on CBSFM. Zach played a lot of good halloween songs that most stations don't play much of. Maybe if some programmers wanted to do something good for Halloween and were able to afford it, maybe getting Zacherly's halloween show either live or voicetracked on the station would be good in my opinion.

If you are open to playing New Wave/Modern Rock from the 1980s, there is a Rhino CD called "Just Can't Get Enough: New Wave Halloween". It's out of print but I found a dozen copies for sale at Half.com:

Martian Hop – Ran-Dells
I Want My Baby Back – Jimmy Gross

You are way too much KM!. I owned the entire series except the "Just Can't Get Enough: New Wave Halloween" Disc. I will say that Time Warp, Dead Man's Party, & Pet Sematary were year round favorites. Same with Roky Erickson. Always loved the CBS Radio Network News sounder at 2:38 into the song!

1. Time Warp, The - (from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show")
2. Everyday Is Halloween - Ministry
3. Devil In My Car - The B-52's
4. Dead Man's Party - Oingo Boingo
5. Pet Sematary - The Ramones
6. Theme From Halloween - MX-80 Sound
7. Munsters Theme, The - Comateens
8. Creature From The Black Lagoon, The - Dave Edmunds
9. Halloween - Siouxsie & The Banshees
10. Halloween - Dream Syndicate
11. Halloween - Sonic Youth
12. Halloween - The Dead Kennedys
13. Halloween - The Misfits
14. Halloween - Mudhoney
15. Creature With The Atom Brain - Roky Erickson & The Aliens
