Can this show not use hand signals for a Reset when doing the news?

That - A Current Affair- sounder thing and Pugs saying "SyB" just draws attention to the fact that their content, on whatever topic, just came to a blunt thud.

Wouldn't it sound better to just point at Syb and let her keep rolling with news than to point out that you've just run out of steam by playing a sounder and calling on her to resurrect interest?

Maybe they are going for that "un-slick show" sound. It seems to work for one other show, P&K might think it will work for them too.
