miamiherald.com is reporting that Hank Goldberg is out at WQAM at the end of the year. Apparently, Hank and management couldn't come to terms on a new contract. Personally, I thought Hank should have been gone a long time ago. Good news though, as it sounds like they intend to keep Neil Rogers.

Hank is going to lost out by not having the radio, it might just mean more tv work for him, maybe some full time ESPN work.

The one thing is Dan Lebatard on 790 will benefit from the change. His ratings have been neck and neck wuth Hank. I think QAM should give the slot to someone in house like the Big O or look outside for a big name talker.

Neil is still pullling in the numbers so it's in QAM's best interest to keep his ratings and revenue.

Just give Neil what he wants. 30 years of quality radio earns him that right

Hank should have been gone .. knows alot but he is passed his prime.. for radio... for tv.... maybe print if he still knows how to type.

Neil eventhough I personally do not like him... I would re-sign if I were GM or management. Bottom line is a bottom line.
