Hank

Country radio's answer to Jack. Hank plays a bunch of country songs from the 80s thru today. It's the cowboy's ipod on shuffle. Infinity has the legendary
US99. Do you think they would bail on US99 for Hank?

Why does US99 need to bail out on the current country format? They have no competition on a city grade stick, and the suburban country stations don't make themselves out to be Chicago stations. Unless their ratings and/or revenue go down quite a bit, Infinity Broadcasting will stay with the country format they have now. If ABC had stuck with Kicks Country back in 1997, US 99 would have had competition all this time. 94.7 is the frequency that has gone through plenty of format flips, along with 100.3. If Love FM flops, Bonneville could give it a try. Country has been the only format they haven't tried in Chicago, and ABC could possibly give country another try with Hank, or whatever name that would come to mind. I could see it now. Yeehaw FM, LOL!!!
