Happy New Year everyone. Let's take a moment and note the passing of the man who contributed so much to country music and left us with a legacy. Hank Williams passed away today, New Year's Day in 1953. Although I have been out of country music radio for a few years now, I did not let that stop me from paying tribute this morning at 5:20 on Newstalk 1070 KNTH. "Honky-Tonk Man" once again graced the airwaves on 1070 AM, which used to be KENR, one of Houston's great country music stations.
