Hannity/Colmes on radio vs. TV

There is a very odd change in both Sean Hannity and Alan Colmes when they are on TV together vs. on their respective radio shows:

On TV, Colmes seems to be a patsy; Very meek and easily bowled over by those big, strong Republicans.

Hannity, on the other hand, seems to sit back and watch everything play to his smirky, squinty strengths.

By design? Who knows.

On the RADIO:

Colmes is far more agressive and is surprisingly sharp and especially effective at making dissenting callers look like idiots.
Very different manner on the radio.

Hannity, oddly, considering his notoriety, seems to be mimmicking Limbaugh to an embarrassing degree. The content I expected, but not the same verbage and inflection. It is alarmingly similar. Even his laugh.
Forget whether you agree or disagree ideologically, at this level, it's just embarrassing to hear.

I saw a release that Hannity had signed at fox news channel and is walking away from radio.

I'm suprized to not see it here by now.

It will be a big loss for this market.

Wow. Couldn't be more wrong.

As far as "a big loss":

Hannity is the most intellectually dishonest person I have ever heard crack a mic. He does a disservice to conservatives, in that he makes it seem as if conservatism is all about being completely pig-headed no matter what eveidence you are presented with ona given subject.

Most conservatives I know are head and shoulders above Hannity in the rationale dept.

The phrase "vapid bore" comes to mind.

Knowing what I know with Sean Hannity having this country's 2nd largest audience...

In a conservitive area of the country where Ed Schultz doesn't book all that well...

And hannity is only out booked by Rush Limbaugh... I would say it's a catastrophe.

I think we might as well carry Neal Boortz!!!

I've often wondered why Fox News doesn't offer Hannity & Colmes (maybe even O'Reilly and Shepard Smith) to affiliates for their HD-2 channels. Yes, I know cable programming wants to be exclusive. But, it might give over the air viewers a reason to watch beyond reruns of "Buffy The Vampire Slayer".
