Hannity losing Fox time-slot to Megan Kelley?

That, or he's got a cush landing spot somewhere else. Or he's retiring.

Regardless, is this a sign that Fox is softening its arch-conservativism?? O'Reilly will be their only daily outwardly conservative bloviator...

It's not. Megyn Kelly is as rabid a right-winger as Hannity. It's not a sign of softening.

See, I saw this as a win for their "airheaded bimbo" department at the expense of their "egotistical ranter" department. I'm having a hard time seeing Megyn Kelly stepping into the same role Hannity filled; I don't watch Fox News for my own sanity, but I'd always classified her as one of Fox's "news" people who passive-aggressively slant the news rather than preach opinions. In fact, wasn't she the one who made that odyssey to the decision desk on election night after Karl Rove refused to believe Obama had won Ohio, or was that someone else?

My prediction: Hannity is on the air somewhere between 3 and 6 pm (Eastern) with a simulcast of his radio show. Most likely at 5:00 after Cavuto. That's the only logical plcae to put his show right now.

He can move back an hour.
You suggesting he take Greta's spot? Then I DO think this might represent a retrenchment inside the bunker...

That would be my guess if this rumor is indeed true. Greta Van Sustren is the weakest point in FOX News's prime time lineup (although her show is still usually first in the cable talker ratings...)

That would be interesting, Fox business gets smaller numbers than cnbc, which is pretty low too. Would CNN pick up Hannity? I think he is too old, although they just hired Newt Gingrich.

If Hannity is off fox, would that impact his radio show? I think there has been a lot of cross promotion over the year.

Also Greton would move back an hour. Cavito can move over to FBC and Hannity can be on from 3pm to 6pm with Hume,Chris Wallace and so on can join him.

The Five isn't going anywhere. It easily out-rates everything else in cable news at its time.

I agree. The FIVE is extremely popular

I had no problem whatsoever with that. I think it was a fine move so we the viewers could see the reasoning behind the call for Obama. That's the last example I'd use to say Kelly is biased one way or another.

Reread the post I was responding to, the post it was responding to, and the start of the post you were responding to.

Re: Hannity losing Fox time-slot to Megyn Kelly

Hannity could move to 7. Maybe he wanted a move so he could do his radio program and then his TV show in one block.

It's 7 or 10.

I don't think people are understanding what is going on here. FNC is adding an hour to what they consider prime time. Hannity might move, but he isn't going away. Same goes for Greta. To me the most likely scenario puts Kelly at 9pm eastern, Hannity at 10pm, Greta at 11 - pushing The Factor repeat to midnight.

That actually makes sense and probably what will happen; HLN's After Dark is probably biting a little into Greta's ratings so a move to 11 would put it into a slot filled with repeats and Showbiz Tonight where it could do just fine.
