Hannity on WGIR

Not sure when this started but I guess Sean Hannity is now on WGIR (and the sister stations in Rochester and Portsmouth). A post about Jay Severin on FreeRepublic
mentioned Sean and someone pointed out "I used to listen to Sean when he was on here in Manchester but the station now plays music instead". Out of curiosity I went to WGIR's site and saw that Hannity is now on...didn't they used to have a local guy on that slot before?

Yeah, some yukker named Gardner somebodyorother. Sounded VERY small-market.

I think WGIR may have had Hannity before but tape-delayed him till after dark;
then WKBR 1250 had him for awhile (but they changed to oldies in April).

I typed "WGIR Gardner" into a search engine and got his name: Gardner Goldsmith.
The following was from a messageboard post I got from that search:
"When I first got here to Keene in late August '04, there was apparently only one local libertarian talk show in the state - Gardner Goldsmith's program airing 3-6PM weekdays on WGIR-AM. Now he airs an extra hour each day, and his signal reaches about half the homes in the state."

-----------------------

Well, now it's Hannity (whose show is actually 3-6 pm so I guess they're
re-running his first hour from 6-7 pm or something. SH will be pre-empted
in part tomorrow due to Red Sox 1 pm start, though)
