Hannity to air on tape delay on WPHT, starting on 10/28

from 9 Pm-12 AM . I completely disagree with 1210 making this move by airing this show on a 6 hour delay and losing 3 hours or live and local talk at night in the process. a 50,000 watt signal will be wasted at night. I don't understand why can't 1210 air this show live and move Dick Morris to another time. 1210 is banking on the audience of Rush listeners to carry over for the Dick Morris show that will air from 3-6 starting on 10/28. I doubt that this tactic will work. WPHT is truly a cheap and poorly run radio station.

I'm not a Rush fan and even less of a Hannity fan. However, I can tolerate Dick Morris. His style is not bombastic, includes some history, not rant, more of an intelligent conservative voice than the typical loud mouth right winger.

I gather that elRushbo is coming back to 1210 with Dick Morris moving to 3p-6p slot. I wouldn't have brought Rush back to 1210 live either and would have put both elRushbo and Hannity on delay in the evening after Dick Morris. The live and local aspect during day parts probably would have made more money for WPHT while airing Rush/Hannity at night would keep another Philly market station from being allowed to air their shows plus pulling in folks who during the day couldn't listen to elRushbo or Hannity. From where I sit that would have been more of a win/win than dropping the live and local day part for Rush.

Rush is airing live from Noon-3 PM, Morris from 3-6 PM, Zeoli from 6-9 PM, and Hannity from 9 PM-12 AM Monday-Friday.
