Happy 20th WZBG 97.3

WZBG 97.3 in Litchfield is celebrating 20 years on the air. I like Amy in the Afternoon, Litchfield Country Swap Shop on Sunday Mornings, and of course NASCAR Coverage Sunday afternoons. The music mix is okay as well (even if it is piped in from Dial Global). Even with a lot of its music coming from Dial Global the station is still community focused. I hear lots of remotes from different events throughout Litchfield County. On top of that when Tropical Storm Irene wiped out part of Route 72 in the Bristol-Plymouth area WZBG was the only station that mentioned the road closure every traffic report. Yes WTIC, would mention it, but not every traffic report.
