Happy 6th Birthday to Energy Arizona

Wow it has been a full six years of dance hits on 92-7 and 101-1. Yeah the signal is crappy, the station dosen't have the funds to put everything into it but as other stations have come and gone since June of 2002, Energy is still here. Who knows what the future holds but I am happy everyday I get to hear some dance beats on Energy. Happy Birthday Energy, keep the dance hits coming!

Ah yes, the dance hits continue on energy. And your right azenergyfan, while other stations have come and gone in that time frame, energy is still here. I have to wonder though for how much longer? I wonder if that station would ever consider some type of Triple A format to put on. Someone else had posted in a different thread about how they were approved to get their signal moved closer to the valley. Might be an early sign of a change to come, but then again, they might just be wanting to get the energy a little closer! ;D

Yes the dance hits may not continue but have thought it would be cool to have a hot talk format on the signal. Would just need board-ops to operate the shows. I of course would miss Energy but am thinking how they could get a format on the air that is different than any other format on the air plus easy to run with as little cost as possible.

I'm a big fan of a couple different formats, actually both in the LA area. One being K-Rock, the other being The Sound. Both formats are different than any other rock format here in the valle. K-Rock plays some great artists, they have a great mix of both the older and newer rock songs. I guess it would lean more alternative. The Sound can hit you with just about anything in the rock genre. Some lighter stuff, then some heavier stuff. Artists like Jack Johnson, Death Cab For Cutie, Incubus...just a good mixture. One of those types of formats would be good to see here in the valley.

AHHHHHHH. Superservice in music radio. It would definately be interesting to hear that go off. let alone succeed. I'm not against the Idea what so ever. But the accounts receivable part would be interesting to see.

Celebrating the 200th post... It's The Beave...
