Happy Birthday: Jess Cain !

Seems like only yesterday that I would wake up to Jess Cain on the "Real" WHDH Radio 850 and hear his wit and humor on my way to school. Always wanted to know if "Grossman's Gulch" was tied-up in traffic on Rt. 3 Well, Jess turns 80 today. He is also a candidate this year for the Radio Hall of Fame. If you join the association you can vote. Not sure that is the way to elect people to the Radio Hall of Fame but Jess Cain belongs there for his years of broadcast accomplishment.Happy Birthday, Jess. And many more.

Jess Cain is a candidate for The Hall Of Fame? What? He is not included yet? This is astonishing! I thought that he would have been one of the first to get in.What on earth is anybody waiting for? He is 80 years old. Sheeeesh.

Happy 80th to the best! Good luck on the Hall of Fame. What a great pleasure it was to listen to Jess as a kid on WHDH. He and Leo Egan made a great way to wake up before going to school.I am sure all of us "old timers" got a kick out of hearing the "Yastrzemski Song" during that silly "Fever Pitch" movie.God Bless you Jess!
