Happy Birthday Z100!!!!!

Each year now they mention less and less about their birthday, especially since the station is now older than many of today's core listeners (n.t.t.a.w.w.t.)

The best birthday party of all had to have been the 1998 15th anniversary party. They brought back many of the old jocks and had teams of 3-4 "legends" sharing the mic honors every few hours. The stories shared and the forgotten music played was such a thrill. A program like that at 29+ years simply wouldn't resonate with today's young listeners. Thankfully, Art Vuolo filmed the entire program and shares it on his webpage.

They changed a lot. I miss Cubby on the afternoons. Elvis is syndicated it kinda sucks. I miss the local show that they had. I miss the 5 o clock whistle & I remember the Reality Radio in 2002-2003, that was cool. I remember the Pajama Party they had at night. I remember Shelly Wade in the mid days. She did a great job. I miss the mix of Rock, Hip Hop, Pop on the station. Sad that my musical tastes change for the most part. Still an exceptional station! Keep it up & Happy Belated Birthday Z!
