Fussy child? Hoyt Smith won; the KUSF staff lost. End of story. The real losers are the folks who keep up the "Save KUSF" charade. They keep having rundraisers, but for what exactly? Where does the money go? Why is there no accounting for use of the fundraising money?

and also USF has been pressured to balance the budget too! Sure USF does not have to answer to Jerry Brown, the Assembly, and state Senate like UC, CSU and Community colleges do. but USF has to answer to AICCU, Families of students and WASC on why they had to cut the broadcasting budget.
