How many freaking times an hour does a guy have to give Time checks? It's 8:31 at WSAR, It's 8:32 in the morning at WSAR, it's coming up on 8:33 at WSAR. WTF? In all seriousness... how does a guy keep a job on the air for 30 years while not appearing to have a damn thing to say besides the TIME!

The style (or lack thereof) of morning show that Hec does is largely a function of the generation he's from.

Have we forgotten what the typical morning show was like in the generation when he 'broke-in"?

It was a basic diet of news capsules, sports, weather, traffic, time checks, contest (if any), Community Bulletin-type announcements, and......(if there was any time left over), perhaps playing a song or two...or perhaps some light non-controversial patter.

THAT WAS IT ! ! !

Hec is never going to be aything other than what he already is. Besides, the more time checks he gives out, the less he has to talk with Keri. ;D
