Happy Thanksgiving!

Hey Radio Comrades and Fans,

In an effort to post something a bit more positive, I wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I was reminded recently of my many blessings--although meager by societal standards.

My family and I will gather in the metropolis of Otis, Maine, for a few hours of delicious homemade food, mirth, football, and heartfelt dialogue.

May the splitting of the wishbone be in your favor this Thanksgiving Day, and may you one day own a pair of Thanksgiving pants as do I.

Be Blessed,

nelz

And a Happy Thanksgiving right back to the one of the classiest, nicest people in the biz. No, scratch that---one of the classiest, nicest people period.

Thanks for starting the thread...

As a young radio cub in need of cash I always volunteered to work Thanksgiving (Christmas and New Year, too) shifts ... back before there was voice tracking, of course. Many, many great memories over about 5 years or so, of folks always calling in throughout the day and night (OK, some were clearly drunk) sending their holiday wishes.

So, if for some reason you are pulling a shift over the holiday (maybe your transmitter or automation barfed and you get called in)...

I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving...

Things to be thankful for: Health, Family, Friends, Employment and a peaceful existence. Professionally: Broadcast professionals, Dedicated owners and employees committed to localism and community service.
Holiday Wish: World peace, solution to all the world's ills, and a new dawn for the re-birth of broadcasting. Too much to ask for? OK maybe just the World Peace thing then!
Happy Thanksgiving all.
